The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has charged Instagram sensation Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, with three counts of violating the Central Bank Act of 2007.
The charges stem from three separate incidents in January and February 2024, where Okechukwu allegedly sprayed and tampered with Naira notes at social events.
He is scheduled to appear before Justice Kehinde Ogundare of the Federal High Court in Lagos on Wednesday, April 17.

According to the EFCC, his actions contravene Section 21 (1) of the Central Bank Act of 2007.

Meanwhile, the Social Media Influencer has not yet responded publicly to the allegations.
Recall that Bobrisky, another social media influencer, was recently sentenced to six months in jail for similar offenses.
