The bid by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to arrest and prosecute ex-governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello has been stalled.
Daily Report Nigeria reports that Court of Appeal in Abuja did not sit today, Monday 22 to address the appeal filed by the EFCC against the decision of a Kogi High Court concerning Bello.
On April 17, the Kogi court ruling restrained the EFCC from taking any action against Former Governor.
Judge I A Jamil delivered the judgment last Wednesday in Lokoja, in suit no HCL/68/M/2020.

Also, Justice Emeka Nwite had instructed that the former governor appear before him on Thursday, April 18, for arraignment.
