Evelyn Oboro has emerged the Peoples Democratic Party’s flag bearer for the Okpe, Sapele & Uvwie constituency.
The former commissioner polled 45 votes in the rerun, ahead of Napoleon Gbinije and Efe Afe, following a tie of 25 votes each in Monday’s primary election.

While Gbinije scored 36 votes, Afe who currently occupies the seat only secured 18 votes.
In a similar event, Erhiatake Ibori-Suenu, daughter to former Delta State Governor, James Ibori claimed the PDP ticket for Ethiope East Federal Constituency.
