Everton manager, Rafa Benitez has been sacked following Everton’s 2-1 loss to Norwich City on Saturday, 15th.
The 61-year-old was caused to part ways with the School of Science after six months of being in charge.
Prior to his sack, Benitez has heaped a series of defeats for the the People’s Club

However, yesterday’s defeat to Norwich happened to be his final straw at the club.
The former Liverpool coach succeeded Carlo Ancelotti last summer and had a good start at Goodison Park before a turnaround.
Meanwhile, the Blues have managed to win only one in their last 12 matches in the English top flight.

A statement from the Premier League club said: “Everton Football Club can confirm the departure of Rafael Benitez as first-team manager.”
“Benitez, who joined Everton in June 2021, has left the club with immediate effect. An update on a permanent replacement will be made in due course.”
Meanwhile, Everton is sixteenth on the Premier League table with just six points above the relegation-threatened Norwich City.
