The lawmaker representing Egor/Ikpoba-Okha, Edo State, in the Federal House of Representatives, Jude Ise-Idehen, is dead.

DAILY REPORT gathered that the lawmaker died in the early hours of Friday, July 1, 2022.

The deceased recently emerged his party’s flag bearer in the primary election, to pursue another term before his demise.

Born on July 7, 1969, into the family of Sir George OtutuIse-Idehen (KSM, KSS, JP) and Lady Clara EnoyozeIse-Idehen, Jude was an ardent Catholic.

He was also a staunch member of the People’s Democratic Party in Nigeria, and once served as member of the Edo State House of Assembly.
