FG Queries Channels

Nigeria’s federal government on Thursday queried Channels Television, a media organization over an alleged anti-government interview.

The query was spearheaded through the National Broadcasting Commission, NBC, following alleged “Inciting, divisive and unfair comments” made by Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom, Channels TV’s ‘Sunrise Daily’ breakfast program on Tuesday.

Report of the impending query was first leaked by investigative outlet, Sahara Reporters, who labeled the incumbent administration as “repressive.”
