Mailafa Obadiah is Dead

Mailafa Obadiah, a former deputy governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), has died.

Malaifa was also a columnist with Vanguard newspapers until his demise.

The foremost economist from Southern Kaduna died after battling an undisclosed ailment aged 64.

The former deputy governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria reportedly died at the National Hospital Abuja.

Mailafia recently made headlines when he alleged that a northern governor was part of the top leaders of terror group, Boko Haram.

He was invited by the Department of State Services (DSS) over the allegation and grilled him for hours before being let go.
