Arc. Joseph Ogeh, a former Commissioner for Housing in Delta State, is dead.

Joseph Ogeh was a commissioner during the first tenure of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa.

His demise was announced on social media by the Senior Special Assistant to the Delta State Government on Special Duties, Ossai Ovie Success.

The late commissioner hails from the Isoko tribe in Delta South and is a well respected political leader.

He is a chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party and has held several positions in Delta State.”

According to Ossai, Joseph Ogeh had concluded arrangements to host members of the People’s Democratic Party in Isoko on Sunday.

Ossai noted that “as a speak now, food, drinks are ready based on the meeting he was supposed to be hosting today before death came calling. My condolence to his family and the People of Isoko Nation,” he said.

However, Ossai did not state the cause of Joseph Ogeh’s death.
