A former Nigerian Senator, Francis Arthur Nzeribe, is dead.
Nzeribe’s death was announced by his family on Sunday.
Nzeribe is said to have died from an undisclosed ailment outside the country.

He died on Sunday morning aged 83.
“He died this morning in a hospital abroad. The family will soon release a statement,” a family source announced.
Nzeribe was elected senator to represent Orlu in 1999.
He also served as senator in the second republic before the military took over.
