Senator Godswill Akpabio has been elected Senate President of the 10th National Assembly.
Daily Report Nigeria reports that Akpabio defeated is only rival, Abdulaziz Yari to the position on Tuesday morning.
Akpabio wad nominated by Senator Ali Ndume while Yari was nominated by Senator Elisha Abbo.
