A former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, Ahmed Gulak, has been shot dead, Daily Report Nigeria can confirm

Gaku, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) was shot by gunmen in Owerti, the Imo state capital.

Though details of the incident are still sketchy, sources say Gulak was attacked while returning to Abuja from Owerri.
