BREAKING: Gunmen Attack, Injure AIG, Kill Orderly | Daily Report Nigeria

Gunmen suspected to be bandits on Tuesday, attacked the convoy of the Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG) in charge of Zone 12 Bauchi, Audu Madaki, injuring him and killing one of his Police guards.

Report has it that the AIG was on his way to Abuja from Bauchi when the suspected terrorists ambushed and attacked him.

It was also learnt that the AIG Audu Madaki was injured during the attack while his orderly was shot dead.

The incident was said to have happened on around 2:30pm on Tuesday, between Barde and Jagindi area in Kaduna State.

The AIG is said to be receiving treatment at an undisclosed hospital while security has been beefed up around the Zone.
