BREAKING: Gunmen Attack Police Station, Kill Officer In Ondo

Gunmen in the wee hours of Monday stormed the Okuta Elerinla Police Division killing one police officer on duty.

The officer identified as Boluwaji Temenu, with registration number AP. 207538 lost his life during the attack.

It has however, not been ascertained what their mission was.

SP Funmilayo Odunlami, the Police Public Relations Officer in the State, while confirming the attack, said the officers at the station were able to repel the attack.

Odunlami added that the Commissioner of Police, Oyeyemi Oyediran had ordered the State Criminal Investigation Department, SCID, to immediately take over the case.
