Unknown gunmen on Monday invaded the house of the governorship candidate of the Labour Party, Rt. Hon. Lasun Yusuf Suleiman.

The honorable made this known via his official Twitter page on Monday, July 11, where he noted that his house in Illobu, Osun State was attacked by gunmen in uniform.

Suleiman tweeted: “Just in: gun men in uniforms are presently in my residence shooting sporadically…”

Speaking to reporters hours after the attack, Lasun explained that the assailant invaded his house very early in the morning, adding that they came intending to harm him.

He also added that a team of police officers have been drafted to his house and has since inspected the scene
