BREAKING: Gunmen Kill APC Presidential Campaign Council Member in Imo

Captain Tony Enoch, a member of the All Progressives Congress’s Presidential Campaign Council in Imo State, has been shot dead by gunmen.

Enoch, retired military officer, was a native of Oru East Local Government Area, the same council area as Governor Hope Uzodimma.

He doubled as the Coordinator for the Grow Orlu Project, a political structure of the Senator-elect of the Imo West Senatorial District, Osita Izunaso.

The deceased was said to have been murdered on his way from a stakeholders meeting of the APC at the Oru- East council headquarters.

Enoch’s assailants reportedly ambushed and ordered him to park his car by the side of the road before shooting him three times in the head.

His body was dumped in the booth of his car, where blood traces were seen underneath.

No official statement had been made by Imo Police Command as of press time.
