Breaking: Gunmen Kill Traditional Rulers in Imo

Gunmen Kill Traditional Rulers in Imo | Daily Report Nigeria

At least three traditional rulers have been reportedly shot dead by unknown gunmen at Nnenasa community, Headquarters of Njaba local government area of Imo State.

Daily Report Nigeria gathered that the traditional rulers numbering over 20 from the area had convened in a meeting at the local government headquarters when the gunmen invaded the meeting venue.

The gunmen interrupted the meeting by shooting sporadically and killing at least five of the traditional rulers on the spot.

Others who sustained serious gunshots wounds were rushed to a nearby hospital for medical attention.

However, the Imo state police public relations officer, Mike Abatam, said he was yet to receive full details of the incident.

Meanwhile, the Kaduna State Government has announced a deadline for civil servants in the state to be vaccinated against coronavirus or be denied access to their offices.
