Imo House of Assembly suspends majority leader, Uche Ugbuagu
The Imo state house of assembly has impeached it’s its majority leader, Uche Ogbuagu.
Daily Report Understands the Ogbuagu who represents Ikeduru state constituency, was reportedly impeached following a majority of votes against him.
The embattled lawmaker had defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC) from People’s Democratic Party (PDP), shortly after the sacking of Emeka Ihedioha has governor by the Supreme Court in January 2020.

His defection was seen as a smart move to enable him emerge a principal officer in the House.
However, Ogbugu was removed during plenary held under heavy security on Thursday, following a majority vote.
His removal was announced by Rt Hon Paul Emezim, the Speaker of the Imo State House of Assembly.
