BREAKING: INEC Presents Certificate of Return to Oborevwori, DTHA Members-elect

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to Sheriff Oborevwori, the governor-elect of Delta State.

The Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly was presented his certificate of return alongside his deputy-elect, Monday Onyema.

Daily Report Nigeria reports that the Peoples Democratic Party’s candidate was declared winner of the March 18 governorship election in the state ahead of Senator Ovie Omo-Agege of the All Progressives Congress, APC.

Oborevwori polled 360,234 votes ahead of Omo-Agege, who scored 240,299 votes to come second.

In a ceremony that held at Asaba, the state capital, INEC also presented certificates of return to 29 members-elect of the state assembly.
