AS Roma signs Jose Mourinho
AS Roma have announced Jose Mourinho as the new head coach ahead of the 2021-22 season.
Mourinho, who was sacked by Premier League club Tottenham last month, will replace fellow Portuguese Paulo Fonseca who will leave Roma at the end of the current campaign.
“The club are delighted to announce an agreement has been reached with Jose Mourinho for him to become our new head coach ahead of the 2021-22 season,” the club tweeted on it’s official twitter handle.
Mourinho returns to Italy where he led Inter Milan to the treble in 2010.

He has also won the Champions League with Porto in 2004 and three Premier League titles with Chelsea.
Mourinho will stay with the Roman club until June 2024 according to the new contract.
