Senate President, Ahmed Lawan’s bid for another term at the Red Chamber has been dealt with a massive blow by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.
This is even as the electoral umpire confirmed Bashir Machina as the legitimate candidate for Yobe North Senatorial for the All Progressives Congress, APC.
INEC, on Friday disassociated itself from the primary election that allegedly produced Ahmad Lawan as the APC senatorial candidate for Yobe North.

The position of the electoral umpire was contained in a legally admissible Certified True Copy of the INEC report for the primary election dated Thursday, 23rd June 2022.
