Argentine striker, Lionel Messi has won the Ballon D’or 2021 following a stellar season.

The PSG forward took his 7th trophy at the 65 Ballon D’or award ceremony held in France, on Monday, November 29.

The former Barcelona Player took home the award ahead of Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski, who won the Striker of the Year gong.

Chelsea and Italy’s Jorginho placed third ahead of Real Madrid’s Karim Benzema, while Ngolo Kante placed fifth.

Other winners of the night include Pedri, who won the Best Young Player, Alexia Putellas won the Ballon d’Or Feminin among others.
