Scores of persons have been reported feared dead as fire razed boats parked at Nembe/Bonny/Bille jetty in Port Harcourt.
According to Punch, the fire consumed at least six market boats with passengers still trapped in.
The boats were reportedly loading and offloading locally refined petroleum products at the jetty when the fire suddenly erupted.

The incident is coming barely 24 hours after an explosion rocked an illegal oil dumpsite in the Rumuokoro axis of Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivets State.
