Tito Jackson, a founding member of the legendary Jackson 5 and brother to the late pop icon Michael Jackson, has passed away at the age of 70.

The news of his death was confirmed by his sons via Instagram on Monday, leaving the Jackson family and music fans around the world in mourning.

Tito Jackson was an integral part of the iconic Jackson 5, performing alongside his brothers Jackie, Jermaine, Marlon, and Michael. He leaves behind a significant musical impact, including classics like “ABC” and “I Want You Back.” Michael Jackson himself passed away in 2009, and now the Jackson family is once again mourning the loss of a cherished member of their musical legacy.

“Tito was an incredible man who cared about everyone and their well-being,” his sons, Taj, Taryll, and TJ Jackson, wrote in a heartfelt post on Instagram. “He will be missed tremendously. It will forever be ‘Tito Time’ for us. Please remember to do what our father always preached, and that is ‘Love One Another’. We love you, Pops.”

Steve Manning, a long-time friend and former manager of the Jackson family, confirmed the sad news to Entertainment Tonight, stating that Tito died on Monday. His sons, who gained fame as the R&B/pop trio 3T in the 1990s, are remembered for their heartfelt tribute to their father.
