Multiple explosion suspected to be from the dreaded Boko-Haram terrorists shook Borno state capital, Maiduguri, on Thursday.

The blasts reportedly three in number, were heard at about 6:30pm, with many residents of the city feared to have been killed from the blasts.

The explosion took place at a residential area, Gunge, Mairi and Custom within the metropolis.

Rumours from the incident community residents indicate that it could be another attack from the Boko-Haram militia group.

This is following the Wednesday attack on the convoy of the Borno state governor, Babagana Zulum, in Baga town, while on his way to see some internally displaced persons camps in Borno North.
