BREAKING: NEMA Warns Against Fire as Gas Pipeline Leaks in Lagos | Daily Report Nigeria

A gas leakage has been reported around the popular Computer Village area, Oba Akran Area of Lagos State.

This was confirmed via a statement by the spokesperson for NEMA (South West), Ibrahim Farinloye.

Farinloye advised residents in the area to avoid using anything inflammable following the leakage.

“Residents around Computer Village, Underbridge Awolowo Way, and Oba Akran axis, Anifowose Street, Medical Road must not open shops or use open naked fire for safety reasons,” he said.

“Distressed alert just received indicates massive leakage of gas pipeline around these areas.”
