The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced a new National Chairman.
Daily Report Nigeria reports that Senator Abubakar Kyari, the Deputy National Chairman (North) has been announced APC National Chairman.
The development followed the resignation of Senator Abdullahi Adamu as APC National Chairman as well as Iyiola Omisore as National Secretary.

Kyari, who currently presides over the the party’s National Working Committee Meeting at the APC National Secretariat, announced himself as acting chairman citing the constitution of the party.
Adamu announced his resignation from his position in a letter addressed to President Bola Tinubu and received by Femi Gbajabiamila, Chief of Staff to the President.
