Top Nollywood actor, Murphy Afolabi is dead.

Daily Report Nigeria reports that Afolabi died in the early hours of Sunday May 13, 2023.

Though details about his death were sketchy as of press time, the movie star is said to have died from injuries he sustained after falling in the bathroom.

His demise was confirmed by via a post on Instagram by his colleague, Tunde Ola Yusuf, who prayed for Murphy’s soul to rest in peace.

Bidding his colleague farewell, Yusuf wrote;

“We lost a strong Filmmaker Murphy Afolabi….,”.

His death is coming less than 24 hours after the death of Nollywood legend, Obinna Nwafor alias Saint Obi was announced.
