BREAKING: Ondo Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu is Dead

Ondo State governor, Rotimi Akeredolu (SAN) is dead.

Daily Report Nigeria reports that Akeredolu died on Wednesday morning following months of battling a protracted ailment.

His demise was confirmed by a top government official to Channels Television.

Akeredolu was a former president of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), and ex-Attorney General of Ondo State.

He was serving his second term as governor of the state prior to his death.

He died aged 67.
