Mr Abiodun Oyebanji has been sworn in as the new Governor of Ekiti State.
Oyebanji was sworn in on Sunday, October 16, 2022 by Justice Oyewole Adeyeye, the Chief Judge of Ekiti State.

Adeyeye takes over from Kayode Fayemi as governor of Ekiti State.
During the oath-taking process, Oyebanji pledged to preserve, protect and defend as well as preserve the office as governor.
