BREAKING: PDP National Convention to Hold as Court Dismisses Secondus’ Case

Suspended National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Uche Secondus’s bid to stop the planned national convention of the party has suffered a brickwall.

This follows the dismisall of the interlocutory case by the Appeal Court on Friday.

Daily Report Nigeria can recall that the PDP’s national convention is billed for Saturday October 30, 2021.

A three-man Appeal Court Panel dismissed the suit in a sitting in Port Harcourt, Rivers State capital.

Justice Gabriel Kolawole in his judgment described the suit as an after-thought and an abuse of the court process.

The court also blamed the embattled party chairman for not taking acting when his ward and local government suspended him.
