BREAKING: PDP Reschedules House of Assembly, Senate, Reps, Governorship Primaries

The Peoples Democratic Party has postponed its primary elections for States House of Assembly, Senate and House of Representatives.

The main opposition party moved its House of Assembly primaries earlier billed for May 7 to May 18, 2022.

According to sources, the move is to enable the party with ample time to sort out issues arising from the 3-man ad-hoc delegates Congresses.

Also, aspirants who were disqualified without a just cause would be cleared during the reschedule timeline.

With the development, House of Representatives primary elections will now hold on May 20th, while that for Senate will hold May 21, 2022.

Governorship primaries will now hold May 23, 2022.

The development however, does not affect the presidential primary, which is billed for May 28 and 29
