Police operatives on Monday assualted Governor Simi Fubara of Rivers State by pouring him water.
Footages seen by Daily Report Nigeria showed the Governor Fubara walking down the Rivers Assembly Complex.
Fubara, who was escorted by supporters received assaults from the police officers stationed at the complex.
The complex was thrown into chaos as gunshots greeted the move to impeach the governor barely six months into his administration.

Governor Fubara had arrived at the Assembly complex with dozens of his supporters amid reports that lawmakers were set to commence impeachment proceedings against him.
Video footage of the incident shows police officers using water to disperse the crowd, including the governor.
