The Nigeria Police Force has removed its long-serving spokesman, Assistant Commissioner of Police Muyiwa Adejobi, from his role at the Force Headquarters in Abuja and redeployed him to the Delta State Command.
The transfer signals the end of Adejobi’s tenure as the official voice of the Force, a position in which he managed media relations, issued official statements, and shaped public communication strategies on behalf of the institution.

Police sources confirmed that his deputy at the Force Headquarters is expected to assume responsibility for communications as the transition in the Public Relations Department begins.
