Legendary Nollywood director, Wasiu Adebola Onitilo is dead, Daily Report can confirm.
Wasiu, with a directing career spanning over two decades, died on Sunday, July 3, 2022.
His demise was confirmed by the Chief Executive Officer of Best of Nollywood, Seun Oloketuyi.
In a terse message, Oloketuyi said;
“It’s a sad occurrence, Onitilo is dead. He died today, Sunday, July 3, 2022. It’s another mourning session for Nollywood. He will be sorely missed.”
Wasiu Onitilo worked on various films and TV soap operas until his passing.
