BREAKING: Presidential Election Tribunal Begins Pre-Hearing

BREAKING: Presidential Election Tribunal Begins Pre-Hearing | Daily Report Nigeria

The Presidential Election Petition Tribunal pre-hearing sitting has begun at the Court of Appeal on Monday, May 8.

The court sitting was made of a five-member panel of judges headed by Justice Haruna Tsammani.

Other panel members include Justice Stephen Adah, Justice Misitura Bolaji-Yusuf, Justice Boloukuoromo Moses Ugo, and Justice Abbah Mohammed.

Before the court were the petitions by Action Alliance (AA) marked: CA/PEPC/01/2023; Action Peoples Party (APP) marked: CA/PEPC/02/2023 and Peter Obi & Labour Party (LP) marked: CA/PEPC/03/2023.

Recall that after the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) announced Bola Tinubu of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) the winner of the February 25 presidential election, aggrieved parties headed to the Tribunal in Abuja, the nation’s capital.
