APP Withdraws petition against Tinubu

The petition by the Action People’s Party (APP) against the President-elect, Bola Tinubu, has been dismissed by the Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal.

This as the APP withdrew its petition against Tinubu at the resumption of proceedings challenging the former Lagos governor’s victory in the February 25 president election.

APP lead counsel, Obed Agu, announced the withdrawal of the party’s petitions during proceedings on Wednesday.

In the brief by presiding judge, Justice Tsammani, the Presidential Election Petition Court, dismissed the suit by the APP

The latest development followed the withdrawal and subsequent dismissal of the petitions against the President-elect by the Action Alliance party on Monday.
