Residents of Birshin Fulani, a neighborhood of Bauchi, have barricaded the Bauchi-Dass road in protest at the area’s deteriorating security.
As a result of the development, motorists are currently stopped on both sides of the route.
Gunmen stormed the area two weeks ago, killing two people, including Engnr. Abubakar Muhammad, a senior staff member of the Federal Polytechnic, Bauchi.
Other people were kidnapped as a result of the attack.
