Prof Zacchaeus Adangor (SAN) the Commissioner for Justice of Rivers State has resigned.
Adangor also resigned from his position as the Attorney General of the state.
In a letter dated November 14, 2023, addressed to Gov Sim Fubara, the Professor formally communicated his decision to step down.
His resignation, he stated, was guided by personal principles and not linked to the ongoing political crisis in the state.

He said:
“I hereby give Your Excellency Notice of my resignation as the Honourable Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Rivers State with effect from the date of this letter.
“For the avoidance of doubt, from the said office is based on personal principles.”
