Former Manchester United forward, Cristiano Ronaldo has joined Saudi Arabian side, Al-Nassr

The 37-year-old put pen to paper in a deal that will see him earn an eye watering £175 million-a-year.

Ronaldo parted ways with Manchester United in November following the termination of his contract which had six months left on it.

Multiple reports suggest that Ronaldo’s deal with Al-Nassr will see him play for two-and-a-half years before taking up an ambassadorial role for another four-and-a-half-years.

It is thought that Ronaldo was hoping to join a Champions League club prior to his switch to the Saudi side.

Part of his role as an ambassador will be to help Saudi Arabia’s joint bid with Egypt and Greece to host the 2030 World Cup, the reports say.
