Multiple reports suggest that Ronaldo’s deal with Al-Nassr will see him play for two-and-a-half years before taking up an ambassadorial role for another four-and-a-half-years.
It is thought that Ronaldo was hoping to join a Champions League club prior to his switch to the Saudi side.
Part of his role as an ambassador will be to help Saudi Arabia’s joint bid with Egypt and Greece to host the 2030 World Cup, the reports say.
