Cristiano Ronaldo has been named September the English Premier League Player of the Month for September.

The 36-year-old was voted EA SPORTS Player of the Month following his three Premier League goals in September.

Ronaldo emerged the prize winner with votes from supporters on the Premier League website together with an assessment from a panel of football experts.

The award has added up to make Ronaldo’s Player of the Month awards to 5.

The five-time Ballon d’Or awards winner has beaten several competitors to grab the beautiful honor.

The competitors include Chelsea gallant defender, Antonio Rudiger, Mohammed Salah, Liverpool’s forward, Joao Cancelo of Manchester City, Newcastle forward Allan Saint-Maximin, Watford winger Ismaila Sarr.

The former Juventus star clenched the prize having scored 5 times in 6 matches including 3 goals in league games.

The 32 trophies winner has had an impressive start to his second spell at Manchester United by finding the net twice on his debut against Newcastle at Old Trafford.

He then scored another goal clashing with Westham.

Reacting to the news, Ronaldo posted on Twitter: “Proud to be elected Player Of The Month among so many great players in the Premier League.”

“Thanks to all my team-mates at Man United, couldn’t have done it without them. Let’s keep working hard and the results will come!”

Likewise, Mikel Arteta, Arsenal coach has also been named Manager of the Month for claiming his team’s three League victories in September.

Arsenal first thrashed Norwich with a slim 1-0 win on the 11th of Sept, before they beat Burnley to another 1-0 victory on the 18th.

The Gunners then wrapped up their September league games when Tottenham succumbed to a 3-1 defeat on the 26th of September.
