BREAKING: Sanwo-Olu Bans Okada in Ikeja, Lagos Island, Apapa, Others

BREAKING: Sanwo-Olu Bans Okada in Ikeja, Lagos Island, Apapa, Others | Daily Report Nigeria

The Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, ordered a ban on the operations of commercial motorcycles popularly called Okada, in six Local Governments.

In a statement on Wednesday, the governor announced that the ban is “indefinite and total”.

Sanwo-Olu also asked for the Lagos Police Command and other security agencies to enforce the ban.

The six local governments affected by the ban are Ikeja, Surulere, Eti-Osa, Lagos Mainland, Lagos Island, and Apapa.
