The governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in Delta State, Sheriff Oborevwori is set to be declared winner of the governorship election in the state.
According to results announced by the Independent National Commission from Collation Centre in Asaba, Oborevwori leads his closest rival, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege of the All Progressives Congress by a wide margin.
PDP’s Sheriff Oborevwori has so far polled 360,234 votes ahead of Ovie Omo-Agege of the APC, who secured 240,229 votes, while Ken Pela of the Labour Party comes a distant third with 47,415 voter.

Oborevwori won in 21 out of the 25 local government areas, while Omo-Agege has secured victory in 3, while Pela failed to win a single council area.
Going by the results, Oborevwori is said to be declared winner of the Delta governorship election by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.
