Kemi Olunloyo revealed this on her verified Twitter account on Monday, saying the deteriorating health of the activist is owing to being poisoned.

Recall that one of Sunday Igboho’s lawyers, Yomi Aliyu raised an alarm over his client’s health condition on October 14th, when the activist was rushed to the hospital over kidney or lungs related ailment.

Aliyu in his alarm noted that he had no issues with his kidneys prior to his arrest by Beninese authorities while on the way to Germany with his wife.

“Yes, he is critically ill and he has been taken to the hospital in the Benin Republic. The lawyers over there are going to report the matter to the Beninese court.”
