BREAKING: Supreme Court Dismisses Peter Obi’s Appeal Against Tinubu

Tribunal Judgment: Peter Obi Heads to Supreme Court
Peter Obi and Bola Tinubu

The Supreme Court has dismissed the appeal by the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, against President Bola Tinubu’s election.

Obi had dragged Tinubu before the Supreme Court to challenge upholding of the former’s victory by the Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal on September 6.

The apex court however, threw out all issues raised by Obi against Tinubu’s election for lacking merit.

The dismissal followed the rejection of an appeal by Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party on Thursday by the court.
