BREAKING: Gunmen Attack Checkpoint, Kill 3 Police Officers in Enugu | Daily Report Nigeria

There is palpable tension in Enugu, the Enugu State capital as gunmen reportedly attacked a police checkpoint.

The attack is said to have left at least three officers dead.

The incident was said to have happened on Thursday morning at Akwuke Junction in the Enugu South Local Government Area of The State.

As at the time of filing this report, it was still unclear how many officers were killed during the attack.

Meanwhile, a source said people are still running helter-skelter as the gunmen are still shooting sporadically.
