The former Lagos State governor crossed the threshold necessary for victory with a total of 1,0004 as of press time.
Though, counting was still ongoing as of the time of filing this report, the Jagaban leads the rest of the pack by a wide margin.

His closest opponent is former minister of Transport, Rotimi Amaechi, who has so far scored just over a hundred votes.
