President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has offered at least twelve million families the sum of N8,000 for six months.

The offer was to ease the hardship Nigerians are facing due to the removal of fuel subsidy.

Speaker Tajudeen Abbas read a letter addressed to the House of Representatives at Thursday’s plenary session aimed at helping poor and vulnerable Nigerians meet their basic needs.

The letter sought to approve additional funding for the National Assembly’s expanded national social safety net program that would have an increased effect on about 60 million people, he said.

To guarantee the reliability of the process, Abbas explained,
the digital transfer will be made directly to the recipient’s account.

Details as soon as possible…
