The Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal has officially dismissed the petitions of Peter Obi against President Bola Tinubu.

Declaring judgment on Wednesday, the tribunal dismissed the Labour Party’s presidential candidate’s petitions for lacking merit.

Peter Obi and the LP had challenged the victory of Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the February 25 poll.

The court earlier dismissed the petitions of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) challenging Tinubu’s declaration as winner of the election by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.
