The Governorship Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Kaduna has sacked Governor Uba Sani of the All Progressives Congress, APC.

Daily Report Nigeria reports that the tribunal upheld the petition filed by the Peoples Democratic Party’s governorship candidate, Isah Mohammed Ashiru.

In its sitting on on Thursday, the tribunal declared the 2023 governorship election in the state inconclusive and subsequently ordered a rerun.
