The Nasarawa State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal has nullified the victory of Governor Abdullahi Sule in the elections.
Daily Report Nigeria reports that a three-man panel led by Justice Ezekiel Ajayi, in its judgment delivered via zoom, declared Emmanuel Ombudagu of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, is the winner.
Two of the justices agreed that the election was won by the PDP while one judge dissented.
Justice Ezekiel in his ruling, explained that the petitioner was able to prove his case beyond reasonable doubt.

The tribunal subsequently ordered for INEC to withdraw the certificate of return it issued to Sule and present same to Ezekiel.
Recall that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared Abdullahi Sule winner of the March 18 governorship election in Nasarawa State in Lafia.
Sule polled 347,209 votes ahead of David Ombugadu of the PDP, who scored 283, 016 votes.
